Dog Schidt Lenses
So over at a friend's house borrowing some lenses and he asked me If I had used any dogshit lenses lately. I laughed and said, "I really try not to ever use any", and then he showed me what he was talking about. The name alone made me laugh, but the results are kinda awesome, and I like what these guys are doing. For Cameras with shallow DR, these are amazing lenses.
I just love that their contrast options are "Low, Lower, and Stupidly Low."

I have a mint condition Bell & Howell / Kowa Anamorphic lens for sale. (similar to Kowa Anamorphic 8Z / 16H but this one is better with strict B&H quality control) It was professionally cleaned by an Anamorphic lens specialist in Hollywood and hasn't been used since then. It is probably the cleanest B/H Kowa you can find. You will not be disappointed.
It'll give you 2X stretched image and beautiful anamorphic horizontal flares.
I will be at NAB show in Las Vegas. Feel free to test it. It doesn't come with a clamp so you'll have to get it from Redstan or Vid-Atlantic or make your own to fit your lens. If you buy this lens at NAB, I can throw a 50mm Canon FD lens.

Most wanted ANAMORPHIC lens
Dear All,
We have received 4 email requests from members of this forum on the possibility of designing an Anamorphic lens. We had this thought for the past year and did a lot of research. There is one common request which is to have horizontal flares. The others requests did not have any common grounds. We came up with an idea for a 25mm f/3.2 1.35x or 35mm f/3.2 1.35x Anamorphic lens for micro four thirds. Shooting at 16:9 would give a 2.40:1 anamorphic output. Just before we decided to go ahead with the project we had a second thought. 2 Years ago we asked openly on dpreview.com forum for what photographers wanted and the general consensus was our SLR Magic HyperPrime 12mm T1.6 lens.

It did not fulfill the needs and wants of everyone but we made what most people agreed on by means of a discussion. It ended up being a popular lens that we still are having problems meeting demand and we think it had a big part to do with asking photographers. If we did not ask around we probably made a 12mm f/2.8 lens. As it turned out quite well last time we want to make our next lens an open discussion again.
Here are some of the possible options we received and please feel free to throw in extra ideas. I hope people experienced with shooting in Anamorphic can also throw in ideas.
Anamorphic Adapter (1.33x, 1.5x, 1.75x, 2x) Dedicated mFT Anamorphic adapter for reasonable size Anamorphic adapter compatible with FF lenses 50mm f/2.8 Anamorphic lens (FF, APS-C, or mFT) Expected MSRP (Sad fact but it as direct correlation to IQ)

Hi all, Being New to the GH2 world (and what a nice world it is) im trying out all of my canon fitment lenses...It was time for the ISCO Anamorphic!
being a canon user for 4years all of my lenses are for canon fitment, so i bought a EF to M43 adapter. My set up for this video was - EF to M43 adapter, Olympus 50mm F1.8 + OM to EF Adapter, REDSTAN Anamorphic clamp adapter to thread with a step ring. I sold my canon 7D and 50D a few months back to get a used GH2 and i cant see me going back to Canon...ever. Enjoy.

Pristine Red ISCO Cinemascope Ultra Star Plus 2.4 Focuses down to 5ft. Lens Tripod Mount Support and Vid-Atlantic Clamp with 52mm Threads. Also included is a 49-52mm Step up Ring. Also includes a pristine Kenko 72mm +.5 Diopter for focusing even closer. You'll have to buy a 72mm front clamp adapter for the Diopter. Selling as a package for $350 plus shipping.
This is basically the ISCO with the other stuff for free at this price. The Diopter is really sweet. All Optics are clean and sharp. This ISCO won't flare and so you can get a clean look if those wild flares bother you. You will get the oval bokeh tho.

I think this is really nice community that is able to help each other..
I have hackable GH1 .. and I'm preparing for a really large project next month and I think this is the right time for the anamorphic lens for my GH1..
First .. There are two types of anamorphic lens squeeze, right? 2,0X and 1,5X? .. what is the general output difference here? Like the final aspect ratio?
And second thing.. I decided to buy a anamorphic lens for my GH1 of the eBay.. and I need some good tips for cheap (you know.. I don't have lot of money as a digital multimedia, motion advertising and motion picture student at this moment) anamorphic lens and also some converter (adapter) (?) to mount it on GH1? I really have no idea how this works.. so maybe you can help me to get started with this stuff.. :-) Basically, I need a great anamorphic setup for a lower price (I really don't have hundreds dollars for this.. you know) for my GH1..
So maybe this can be a really helpful information for others, with a idea of buying an anamorphic gear for GH1/GH2..

Who knows this anamorphic lens?
I found this in a little shop here in my country where sometimes I find interesting things for little money. He asks me about U$14, but above the price I want to know if I can take advantage on M4/3 or a waste of time.
Also the optical has a small stroke about an eighth of an inch over the glass. Unfortunately the photos a little kick fast and the front is out of focus.

FS: Iscomorphot 8/1,5X - Isco-Göttingen Anamorphic lens!
Hello guys!
Up for sale this VERY RARE Iscomorphot 8/1,5X - Isco-Göttingen Anamorphic lens!
The lens is quite old, regarding this, it is in very good condition. It doesn't have scratches, haze or fungus, it only has coating marks on the front and rear elements. It looks scrary on the photos, but it is only coating and not a deep scratch, sometimes this happens with coatings on 40-50 years old german lenses. I never ever noticed any quality loss.
Since this is a very rare lens, the asking price is 1500 USD (I can accept EURO also). I am opened for offers too, so please PM me!
I am in the European Union, between EU member countries there is not costum duty tax! I ship worldwide!
I hope to be able to afford a GH4 after I sold this. :)
